Peng Lei is currently the academic leader at the Department of Music Performance, School of Music, Anhui Professional College of Art. Having graduated with a music performance major from the School of Music, Nanjing University of the Arts, Peng studied with Professor Wang Zhenxian, the famous Chinese clarinetist and educator. Peng Lei is also a member of the Wind Instruments Society of China Musician Association, judge of the Band Tests of Social Art hosted by China Musician Association, member of Anhui Musician Association and the affiliated Wind Instrument Committee, and an evaluator of Anhui Province Vocational Skill Test.
